As a new mom, Even though I research countless baby blogs, baby advice books, and other products I'm always shocked that I never seem to find the practical and useful tips. So much emphasis gets placed on the stuff that isn't as important. I have purchased countless useless things that aren't practical. These inserts should be on every blog. My daughter is in the 50% range in weight. She at 6 months looks like a toddler instead of a chubby baby. What many blogs neglect to tell you is that even though their waist may fit a particular diaper the diaper may be too small in the amount it catches. So she wore the preemie sized diapers for the first 4 months, and size 1 until about 2 weeks ago. That's when I learned that valuable lesson. My daughter overnight went from a back sleeper to an "I can't keep her off her stomach" girl. With the new position I was waking her to find she'd flooded the diaper, and was soaked from top to bottom. Her diapers were not holding everything she was throwing at it. I ordered these inserts and even with the smaller diapers It helped immensely. I'd wake to find that the diaper and pad are now soaked and not her or her mattress. The pads helped so much. Though they were still getting so close to bursting that I decided to see if I should go a size larger. I ended up bringing home the size 3 diapers and to my surprise they fit her skinny waist just fine. The bigger diapers also hold more. I have been adding the pads to my size 3 diapers and the combination of bigger diaper and pads has left her dry and happy. What I like about these: It fits like a woman's panty liner but not rounded. It has an adhesive back that doesn't move. It holds sooooo much. The weight of my daughters diaper in the morning deserves raving about. I honestly can't say enough good things about these pads. It has helped make a much happier baby. I will most definitely be buying these again.
