Are you an exhausted parent? Do you love your little s*** to death, but are frustrated because he won't stay in the damn crib? This is the answer. We're on our third kid, he's tall, strong, and can pull himself out of the crib regardless of putting the mattress on the floor and having the rails be above his head. After installing this, we watched him try to climb out of the crib via the baby monitor, only to realize he was now in solitary confinement. The game was over, and it was time to take a nap. :)
This product is what winning feels like.
This is literally my first Amazon review but I wanted to help other parents. If your toddler is breaking out of their crib, buy this immediately. We weren’t ready for a toddler bed, and our adventurous two year old daughter was climbing out even with the mattress all the way on the floor. We have a pool, so I was very worried about it. I couldn’t sleep worrying about her wandering into the backyard in the middle of the night or walking out the back door when I was busy during nap time. I bought this and it immediately solved the problem. It’s easy to install and sturdy. Even if she was able to disconnect the ties to the crib and collapse the tent (which is impossible), the mesh is breathable, so I don’t worry about it being unsafe. The only downside is we can’t see her very well on the baby monitor unless she’s moving around. We solved this by moving the baby monitor until the angle was right and it was easier to see her. Overall, a great product that I cannot recommend enough!
Does it's job A+. Kind of pricey. Impossible to fold. Tried looking up videos on how to fold it since I no longer have the paper instructions. Nothing available. So for the past 3 months it sits open in whichever room in the house that has the least amount of traffic.
Works great only concern is that he slips and in one occasion has hit his little head :( can't put a all around blocker cause he pulls it and it has no where to tied it since the kindersense blocks the outside
My daughter is over 99th percentile for height and is strong enough at 1 to pull herself out of her crib. She's too young to just hang out alone so I needed a solution. This works perfectly. She doesn't mind it and I think at this point it is comforting. I sold it to her as a "princess bed" and said how cozy it was etc which helped. She also helped me put it up and tie the strings while I was saying how cool the tent is etc. I really recommend this to keep your 1+ yr old safe.
For parents you have trouble keeping their 1 year old a crib because he just climbs out, this is a godsend. The tent may help keep out insects, but it is absolutely perfect for keeping your child in the crib. It offers no where for the child to climb onto, prevents limbs from getting stuck in the bars, keeps pillows and toys in the crib, and prevents falls when climbing out of the crib. Easy to install: The bottom of the netting tucks under the crib mattress. And then tie the straps at the 4 corners of the crib. Cons: does not fit perfectly squarely in my crib. But as the pictures show, it's definitely good enough. If your reading this review, you need it.
This is a life saver! My son was always crawling out of his crib and now I have security knowing he can’t ! It goes under the mattress and I have never had issues of it coming up. It fits perfect. Highly recommend
This has kept my 2 year old in her crib and she thinks it is so fun to play inside. Highly recommend.
Had the tent installed in minutes and now can rest easy knowing our granddaughter can no longer escape from her crib. Love that the fabric is sheer yet durable.
